Terms & Conditions

PopTots – Terms & Conditions Updated January 2026

TERM PLACES & TRIAL CLASSES

  • Each booking is for one adult and one child only. This is due to studio space and noise levels. We understand that, on occasion, childcare circumstances may require a sibling to attend. In these cases, siblings must remain seated, quiet, and must not distract the class.
  • Trial classes are offered at selected times of the year only and are subject to availability.
  • Places are extremely limited and are secured via our online booking system, Class4Kids, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Where a trial offer is available for your chosen class, you may book either a trial place or a full termly place.
  • If your desired class is full, please join the waiting list and we will notify you when a place becomes available.

ENROLMENT & PAYMENT

  • Following completion of trial class(es), the balance for the remainder of the term will be due should you wish to continue. Your place will be reserved until the end of the day of your final trial class. If payment is not received, the place will be released to another child.
  • Once enrolled, students will be given priority booking to retain their place by a specified deadline each term.
  • Any unclaimed places after the stated deadline will be released to the waiting list and then to the general public.
  • There will be no reduction or refund for absences, including holidays, sickness, auditions, or professional work.
  • If a class cannot take place at the studio due to circumstances beyond our control (including, but not limited to, further Covid-19 lockdowns), the class will be delivered online.
  • Fees are non-refundable if a student leaves PopTots before the end of term.
  • Please select your class carefully. Any account adjustments, including overpayments, will incur a £15 admin fee per booking to cover additional administrative time and platform fees.

LIABILITY

  • All staff are fully qualified and DBS checked. Due to the nature of dance teaching, it may occasionally be necessary to physically correct dance positions. This is always carried out with the utmost care and professionalism.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for informing PopTots of any illness or injury that may affect a child’s participation in class.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Good behaviour and manners are expected at all times.
  • TinyPops and MiniPops classes include an accompanying adult due to the age of the children. Please be mindful that children are there to learn while adults spectate; therefore, we kindly ask that all adults remain quiet during class. Adult chatter can disrupt learning.
  • Jewellery must not be worn in class.
  • Chewing gum is strictly prohibited.
  • Uniform is available for all students and is optional for our youngest group, TinyPops.
  • MiniPops must wear a PopTots t-shirt at a minimum. This helps create a sense of unity and belonging within the class.
  • TopPops are required to wear full uniform: PopTots t-shirt, black leggings, black socks, and black dance shoes. Being fully prepared promotes professionalism and a sense of belonging.
  • Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studios. Dance shoes only.
  • Please leave valuables at home. PopTots cannot accept responsibility for lost items.
  • Students must bring a bottle of water to class. No fizzy drinks are allowed. Only clear liquids may be brought into the studios. Adults must not bring coffees into the studios.
  • By participating in classes and selecting photo consent, you grant PopTots permission to use photos and videos taken for website and social media promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child to be included, please update their profile via Class4Kids.
  • We follow the same photo policy as pre-schools and schools regarding parents/guardians taking occasional photos for personal memories. Please be mindful of others and focus only on your own child. Images or videos of other children must not be shared online without consent from their parent/guardian.
  • Routines must not be filmed in their entirety.
  • If a teacher feels that photos or videos are being taken excessively, they reserve the right to ask that filming or photography stops immediately.
  • On occasion, PopTots may appoint another suitably qualified team member to cover a class.
